Award of CW0277-02 Bus Network Review (Phase 2)
Notice Description
Fife Council wishes to move forward with a detailed Bus Network Review (Phase 2) analysis, taking into account work already done in the original Bus Network Review (WSP UK Ltd) in 2024-2025.In summary,*a Business Justification Case (BJC) for Bus Franchising across the whole of Fife*a Business Justification Case for Bus Service Improvement Partnerships*Network accessibility and analysis training, including some upskilling of a Technician who will be responsible for this going forward using transport planning software*a Municipal Bus Operation Outline Business Case (OBC), including a robust and transparent assessment of costed scenarios for running in-house DRT Local Bus services and taking over existing Local Bus service contractsThe costings and conclusions will be used to inform Elected Member decision making on whether to proceed with any aspect of the Review outcomes.The services are to be provided to support the Client in delivering its requirements under the Scotland Excel Engineering and Technical Consultancy Framework (Ref: 1025).
