Plastic Bags for ATEC24 CELS
Notice Description
The Community Equipment Loan Service (CELS) part of the City of Edinburgh Council, requires disposable plastic bags for the return of used aids it provides to Daily Living or Health and Social Care equipment on loan to individuals following an assessment by a health or social care professional. Equipment such as single and double mattresses, dirty equipment, slings, pumps, nebulisers, freeway parts are all recycled, refurbished and decontaminated to be used again. Plastic bags are used to store refurbished items of equipment and support the general operations of the service.

Equipment such as single and double mattresses, dirty equipment, slings, pumps, nebulisers, freeway parts are all recycled, refurbished and decontaminated to be used again. Plastic bags are used to store refurbished items of equipment and support the general operations of the service. CELS will aim to place three-five bulk order for the goods each year so that deliveries can be made by the supplier in bulk.
