The City of Edinburgh Council is inviting applications to the Edinburgh Transport 2 Employment (Parents) Grants Programme. The programme will provide grants of up to GBP 50,000 to third sector organisations and other eligible providers to deliver projects that help parents in Edinburgh overcome transport related barriers to entering, sustaining and progressing in employment. Funding is available for projects that provide additional or enhanced support through approaches such as cycle training, driving training, travel training, support to exchange non GB driving licences, support to obtain employment related driving licence entitlements, and other innovative approaches that address transport related barriers to employment. Projects must support one or more of the Scottish Government's priority family groups and complement existing employability provision in Edinburgh. The programme is expected to operate from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, with the potential for extension subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
