Public Services Delivery Scotland, through NHS Assure, is seeking a supplier to carry out waste composition analysis across selected NHS Scotland sites. The work covers residual waste, recycling and orange-stream clinical waste, with site-specific reporting, national reporting, data analysis, training and knowledge transfer to build NHS Scotland’s internal capability. The requirement is for services delivered across selected NHS Scotland locations, with up to ten sites potentially included. The core scope is seven sites, with the Authority able to instruct up to three additional sites. The Authority, Public Services Scotland (PSD), through NHS Assure, invites Suppliers to submit a proposal to undertake waste compositional analysis across selected NHS Scotland sites, deliver site-specific and national reporting, and provide training and education to support capacity building within NHS Scotland. The Authority intends to include up to ten NHS Scotland sites within the scope of the Contract. Tenderers shall submit proposals and pricing based on the full ten-site requirement. The Authority reserves the right to award an initial seven-site core requirement with the option to instruct up to three additional sites during the Contract period.
