Summary of the contracting process

Argyll and Bute Council, on behalf of the Integration Joint Board, intends to procure community-based support for people in recovery from alcohol and drug use. The service is described as a community-based model of recovery support, to be delivered throughout Argyll and Bute. This is a social care and support service rather than a supply of goods or construction work. The council is repeating its market engagement after an earlier 2024 planning exercise for the same service did not progress to a tender, so the current exercise recognises that the market may have changed.
