The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham wish to identify and appoint an appropriately accredited supplier to supply Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products. The Council requires access to a range of licensed NRT products for use by the Stop Smoking Team (who are part of the Council). The stop smoking team offers a 12-week programme to smokers in Barking and Dagenham and a regular supply of NRT products is a key element to a successful quit programme. The contract will enable the Council to procure NRT products directly from the supplier. The Contract period is 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2027 extendable for up to 36 months to 31 March 2030. Carers experience a lot of pressure in relation to their caring role and this fund will help develop the market offer to carers which can be accessed in the long term through their personal budgets. Carers of Barking and Dagenham in partnership with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham would like to invite organisations to bid for funding through the innovation fund to deliver innovative solutions in carer service provision. We would like to invite providers to a market engagement event on Thursday 24 October at 10am to hear details of the innovation fund, find out about carers locally and discuss potential ideas. The fund will be launched in early November 2024 with a view for submissions to be returned on Wednesday 15 January 2025. Successful bidders will present their bids to an evaluation panel on Thursday 30 January 2025. There is an opportunity to bid for projects between £11,000 to £15,000. ELWA wishes to engage with market operators regarding a new contract opportunity for the Reception and Haulage of the waste streams for which ELWA is responsible for, and the operation of Reuse and Recycling Centres; the Reception, Haulage and Reuse and Recycling Centres Contract (RHRRC Contract).
