The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham wish to procure a new 0-19 Healthy Child Programme, an integrated service that combines the health visiting, school nursing services with the National Child Measurement Programme. The service will provide: 1- A programme of health and development reviews for all aged 0-19 and their families. 2- A place-based service that provides health promotion and prevention with information, advice and support for children, young people and families or carers. 3- A targeted assessment and intervention programme for those needing additional support. 4- Reduced inequalities through universal provision and personalised response. 5- Support and access to specialist support across the health or social care system. The Contract is expected to commence on 1st January 2025 and shall continue for 3 years, until 31st December 2028. The Council will be entitled at its absolute discretion to extend the Contract Period on the same terms for a further period or periods of up to 2 years on a 1+1-year basis making a total possible Contract Period of 5 years at the sole discretion of the Council. The procurement procedure to be followed by the Council will be in accordance with The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, No. 1348 - PART 2 - Regulation 11, The Competitive Process. The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) will be procuring on behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary energy company, B&D Energy, a contractor to undertake the design, supply and installation of 2 off CHP's and 1 off WSHP to be installed in a Strategic Energy Centre, and adjoining areas, which is currently under construction in Barking Town Centre. These Works will be tendered as LOT3 of a three-part construction contract for the Barking Town Centre Strategic Heat Network, as follows: - LOT1 - the strategic heat network around Barking Town Centre. These Works have been procured and are largely completed, with building connections progressively being installed as developments are built. - LOT2 - the Strategic Energy Centre Buildings. These Works have been procured and construction of these are drawing ot a close and will be completed in preparation for the LOT 3 Works. LOT2 includes a Northern building which houses 24 MW of gas fired boilers which have been included in the LOT2 Works, together with utility and heat network connections, chimneys and thermal stores.
