Summary of the contracting process

The National Army Museum in Chelsea is currently facilitating a public procurement process for the title "Procurement of Mannequins," which falls under the museum services category. This open tender, with a total value of £7,000, was published on 4th December 2020, and the deadline for submission is set for 17th December 2020. The contract is expected to commence on 6th January 2021, lasting until 1st March 2021, and is aimed at a supplier capable of manufacturing and delivering conservation grade mannequins to be displayed in a permanent gallery as well as in a temporary exhibition entitled "The West Indian Soldier."

This tender presents a favourable opportunity for businesses engaged in manufacturing and supplying museum-quality display items, particularly those with experience in producing conservation-grade goods. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, given the tender's inclusive nature, which seeks to foster competitive bidding. Companies that specialise in display solutions or have a history of working with cultural institutions would find this project particularly well-suited for their capabilities.
