Notice Description

ORE Catapult is currently creating a new facility on their site in Blyth which will be known as the Technology Development Centre (TDC). The TDC facility will consist of two (2) 1MW test rigs and a grid emulation system to perform various research and commercial testing. The test rigs can operate as an integrated system or in isolation, as such, the data acquisition (DAQ) solution will need to accommodate this flexible approach to testing, allowing up to 2 independent tests to be conducted simultaneously. The main purpose of the DAQ system is to acquire and process signals in real-time for display and control feedback. The data acquired during tests will be stored for further analysis and each test could have durations from seconds to days.
