Summary of the contracting process

The North East London NHS Foundation Trust is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "RFI for Risk Management System". This initiative is focused on the compliance software sector, particularly for healthcare, and is set to identify suppliers that can provide a cloud-based risk management and incident reporting system. Key dates include the engagement end date of 28 October 2019 and a contract value estimated at £250,000. The procurement process aims to facilitate flexibility and adaptability in line with national reporting requirements.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in compliance and medical software solutions, particularly those that can offer intuitive, user-friendly systems with the capability for tailored reporting and minimal ongoing support. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in software development and IT services would be particularly well-positioned to compete, as the Trust seeks solutions that allow for internal modifications and training, thus emphasising the need for practical, innovative offerings that can support governance and enhance patient safety.
