Notice Title

Summative evaluation of Cancer Revolution exhibitions

Notice Description

The Science Museum Group wishes to appoint a Supplier to complete the summative evaluation of the Cancer Revolution exhibitions. Between October 2021 - March 2022 visitors will be invited to explore the revolution in science that is transforming cancer care at the Science and Industry Museum (SIM) in Manchester. Following its run in Manchester, the exhibition will tour to the Science Museum (SCM) in London in 2022. This summative evaluation has a budget of PS12,000 (excl. VAT), and needs to cover both exhibition locations, with data collection expected to take place in 2022. The purpose of this audience research project is to identify the extent to which the exhibition's main messages were communicated, learning outcomes met, and, more broadly speaking, investigate how target audiences enjoyed and responded to the exhibition [see procurement documents for more detail]. The research methodology is to be devised by the consultant, but we suggest a qualitative methodology.
