Leicestershire County Council (LCC) Adult Social Care (ASC) have developed a new MCA tool and practical MCA guidance to support staff. We require a provider to co-develop and deliver a comprehensive L&D MCA Assessment and Management programme to all staff within the ASC Care Pathway. This is part of a larger L&D programme and is a mandatory core module for all ASC Care Pathway frontline staff. It is the beginning of a learning programme that provides an overview of MCA Principles, Assessment, Best Interests and application of the legislation in practice.
