Re-opening of the Standing List of Approved Temporary Agency Staff Providers 2017
Notice Description
This opportunity is a re-opening of Standing List of Approved Temporary Agency Staff Providers. The initial Tender process was undertaken from September to November 2015. The purpose of this re-opening process is to identify successful Providers who will be selected for a place on the Standing List of Approved Temporary Agency Staff Providers. Torbay Council's requirements from this Standing List includes temporary specialist professional roles and (from February 2016) administration and beaches staff. Only those Applicants who meet the Authorities minimum requirements, by passing all of the Pass/Fail criteria and achieving a Technical Question score of 20% or more and a Method Statement score of 15% or more, will be placed on the Standing List. There is no limit to the number of Providers that will be selected to join the List. Each successful Provider will be ranked according to their Tender evaluation score. Where there is an Urgent need for an Agency Worker, the Authority reserves the right to invite the highest ranked Provider only to put forward suitable candidates for the available temporary position. If the highest ranked Provider cannot provide a suitable candidate, the Authority reserves the right to work down the list in ranking order. The Standing List of Approved Temporary Agency Staff Providers provides no guarantee of any work to the Provider. The Standing List contains only a list of Providers who are pre-qualified to put forward Candidates for a temporary position when the need arises. The Standing List will be opened every 6 months to enable new Providers to apply to join the list. New Applicants will have to follow the same Tender process in order to be selected for a place on the Standing List. Please see the Tender documents for further details.
