Cambridgeshire County Council: Soft Market Testing Execrise For VR Headsets and Antser Virtual Vision Software
Notice Description
THIS IS A SOFTMARKET TESTING PROCESS: Cambridgeshire County Council currently is currently trialing VR Headsets and AVV software for training people to experience situations that children in care have endured giving them a better understanding of the childs point of view. Currently we are leasing the equipment including 2x Pico 4G virtual reality headsets with associated accessories headphones/carry case Antser Virtual Vision (AVV) is an application (app like on a phone) that has been developed to host our immersive content. AVV platform is developed and managed by a sub -processor Visyon. Data is held on Amazon S3 cloud in the UK (London). The VR programme immersive content is accessed through the AVV. The immersive nature of the VR programme allows the user to experience the impact of trauma, abuse and neglect through the eyes of a child. The programme is a clinically- led, technology enabled behaviour change tool. It is designed to enhance the adults understanding of a child's emotions, trauma and potential triggers to improve the care, support and guidance they provide. We are carrying out this soft market testing, to better understand the market for this type of solution.
