West Berkshire Council's Public Health, Adult Social Care and Education teams are carrying out an early market engagement exercise in relation to a streamlined Supported Employment Service. The primary aims of this service are: * To develop a supported employment service for young people aged 16 - 25 and 26+ with special educational needs and disabilities * To support individuals to identify, apply for and secure appropriate employment * To offer continued support to service-users for a define period who have secure employment and to help them stay in employment The purpose of the engagement exercise is as follows: * To inform Providers that the Council may be bringing the project to the market later this year * To obtain preliminary information from potential bidders around the proposed service and what is deliverable * Gauge market interest The event will be held virtually over MS Teams and will take place from 11:00am-12:00pm on Wednesday 24th April.
