Notice Description

The University has an in-house Catering team that manage a hospitality department and a number of outlets across Campus. This includes the Catering provision at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts (SCVA), one of the most prominent art galleries in Britain. The offering at the SCVA is targeted at a different type of clientele to the rest of the University; customers tend to be staff and external visitors rather than students. The Catering Team have been promoting local produce within this venue and would like to source a supplier that can support them with a range of local (East Anglian) meat and poultry. The Catering team is seeking to establish a framework for the provision of fresh and frozen butcher's meat and poultry predominantly for the SCVA although small volumes may be purchased for the other outlets. The Catering team use a National TUCO framework for the majority of their meat supply, however, the large National suppliers cannot meet the requirement for local produce and therefore we are establishing this framework to fill the gap in supply. It anticipated that the annual spend will be PS40k, however no commitment to volumes will be made.
