Notice Description

The tender includes the In Line Inspection (ILI) of the aviation fuel cross base pipeline. The pipeline consists of a 5km main line from the Petroleum Supply Depot (PSD) to the fist Bulk Fuel Installation BFI 1). The line also includes three additional spurs to BFIs 2, 3 and 4 which range from 200m to 650m. The pipeline characteristics are as follows: - Outside Diameter 168.28mm - Wall Thickness 7.112mm - Material Grade Carbon Steel - Internal Coating Unknown - External Coating 5mm Bitumen The line is used to transport Aviation Fuel with the following characteristics: - Dynamic Viscosity 0.0014Ns/m2 - Density 800kg/m3 - Bulk Modulus 1.13GN/m2 The inspection will be done with the presence of fuel in the pipeline. Location: Akrotiri Petroleum Supply Depot (PSD), CYPRUS The Provisional Key Tender dates for the project are as follows: - Expression of Interest Issue Date: 06/12/24 - Expression of Interest Return: Date: 13/12/24 - Invitation to Tender: 03/01/25 - Tender Return Date: 21/02/25 - Contract award: 27/06/25 The currency of this project is Euro (EUR). The location of this project is Cyprus (British Forces, RAF Akrotiri). Additional information: Work commencement and completion dates will be subject to MOD DIO's agreement, as they will be dictated by the Fuel Operating Authority to avoid Operational Restrictions
