GB-Sheffield: Media and PR services for the Midlands Engine Investment Fund

Notice Description

The Chancellor announced the creation of a PS250m Midlands Engine Investment Fund in his March 2016 Budget, aimed at boosting the regions' economy and supporting the growth ambitions of its 460,000 smaller businesses. The fund, a joint agreement between the British Business Bank and ten Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) in the East & South East and West Midlands, is expected to bring together legacy funding from existing programmes, new funding from the British Business Bank and European Investment Bank, as well as new European funding. The Fund is expected to be launched in March 2017. The new Fund will create jobs, support enterprises through investment and lending and assist with facilitating innovation by launching new products to market. The British Business Bank (BBB) wishes to select a supplier for Media and PR services for the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. The start date would be February/March 2017. This contract is for 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 1 year. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
