Merton Council is seeking to procure a accredited provider of travel training for children, young people and younger adults primarily to support independent travel to and from their place of education. The focus of this service will be young people who have an education and healthcare plan and receive assistance to travel to school/college from the council The proposed service will work with families, schools and the council to promote independent travel and to undertake training with identified individuals to enable them to travel independently on foot or using public transport. It is anticipated that the service will be provided to 30+ individuals each year. Interested organisations should seek further information via the London Tenders Portal - https://www.londontenders.org/ - through which the tender process will be conducted
