Summary of the contracting process

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Intelligent Automation Resources," focusing on IT services, specifically consulting and software development. The procurement is set within the North West region of the United Kingdom, and a key milestone is the engagement end date, which is due by 12:00 noon UK time on Friday, 8 March 2019. Interested suppliers are encouraged to respond to a Request for Information (RFI) that aims to gauge market capabilities for robotic solutions, including Robotic Processing Automation (RPA), Virtual Assistants, and Machine Learning technologies.

This tender presents significant opportunities for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in automation technologies and software development. Businesses involved in developing and supplying innovative robotic solutions may find this an ideal chance to collaborate with DWP, potentially leading to further contracts and growth within the public sector. Suppliers in the fields of AI, machine learning, and automation are particularly well-positioned to benefit from this engagement.
