Description Background and Rationale: This commission is one of several locations chosen for the Your Street Your Way (YSYW) project. YSYW is a key part of the Healthy Neighbourhoods plan that supports traffic reduction and behaviour change. The designs were submitted by the public. You can find a summary of the project, winners and runners-up here: https://www.your-streets-your-way.xyz/ Lambeth Council is seeking an artist / designer to realise a mural along the floor and walls of Leithcote Path. The winning concept depicts a river running along the floor of the path with other natural elements. The mural will be used to: Brighten the space and improve the experience of active travel in the area Improve visibility for path users around corners Celebrate nature in the area and make the space more welcoming to school children and those walking and cycling. In the document We Made That 265 attached to this Opportunity you are referred to pages 13-15. Responses should be submitted by 10 December 2024 at 12 noon to the email address on this Opportunity.
