Summary of the contracting process

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Supported Accommodation for 16-18 Year Olds in Care procurement process is being led by LGSS, a contracting authority based in Cambridge, England. A provider and stakeholder engagement event is scheduled for Friday, 16th February 2018, from 10am to 3pm, following a planning stage that began on 12th January 2018. The event aims to inform potential providers about the upcoming tendering exercise for supported accommodation services, expected to commence in Spring 2018, as existing framework contracts will expire later that year. Interested parties must confirm their attendance by 2nd February 2018 via email.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social work services, particularly those offering supported accommodation and care services. Companies that may thrive in this competitive tendering landscape include providers of housing solutions for young people, social care services, and organisations experienced in supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Engaging in this process could help firms expand their service offerings and reach a new demographic in the care sector.
