Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Lewisham is conducting an Insurance Tender, classified under the services industry. This procurement process is currently at the Award stage, following the completion of the tender period that ended on 1st June 2018. The contracts, which cover various insurance services divided into eight lots, will commence on 1st December 2018 and last for three years, with an option to extend for two additional years. This tender represents a prime opportunity for businesses specialising in insurance services to enhance their market presence and potentially secure long-term contracts. Companies focusing on property, liability, motor fleet, and engineering inspection insurance, as well as those offering personal accident and travel insurance, would be well-positioned to compete. With a significant contract value of approximately £9 million, this initiative could foster growth for both established firms and new entrants in the insurance sector.
