Notice Description

Newcastle University invites suppliers to bid for the following AV project. We appreciate this is an extremely quick turnaround tender, but the timescales are out of our control and cannot be amended. Physics Phase 3 is an extension to the current Physics department based in the Herschel Annex building at Newcastle University. The current project is to create a self-led learning lab that will accommodate 20 locations. Each learning location will require the installation of the AV equipment in the list on the preceding pages. PC's and PC caddies will be provided as free issue by the University, Containment and bracket pattrassing will be provided by the main contractor. All cabling for the system and programming of the control systems is to be provided by suppliers. All Solstice devices are to be provided to the University 1 month prior to installation to allow for configuration.d. Full details on the requirement are detailed in the RFQ document. This opportunity is only being made available to the suppliers appointed to the "Audio Visual Supply and System Design, Integration and Maintenance" (Lot2) framework who have confirmed they will tender for work at Newcastle University. The terms and conditions of this framework agreement shall apply to any award made from this procurement process
