The London Borough of Croydon is seeking tenders for its "Alternative Education Provision" project, aimed at providing educational services for Key Stages 3 and 4 students at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools. The procurement process is currently in the award stage, following an open tender procedure. The contract, valued at £4,000,000, is set to commence on 1st September 2016, with a duration of three years and an option for a one-year extension. This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in educational services, particularly those focused on alternative education models. Companies that provide full-time or part-time educational programmes, support for vulnerable learners, or vocational training pathways would be well-suited to compete. With a strong emphasis on improving educational outcomes for at-risk youth, suppliers with proven capabilities in engaging and reintegrating students into mainstream education will find this contract particularly appealing as they aim to expand their market presence in the public sector.
