Summary of the contracting process

The Wokingham Town Council is seeking a contractor for the redevelopment of the Joel Park Playground, located off Holt Lane, Wokingham, RG41 1EE. Joel Park Playground

Notice Description

Wokingham Town Council wants to redevelop its existing Joel Park playground, off Holt Lane, Wokingham, RG41 1EE. At present the playground has play equipment for children aged 6-12 years in the main. Our aim is to: 1) resurface the existing playground to achieve as level a surface as possible using wetpour or equivalent. 2) introduce play equipment for 2-5 year olds which will include a multi-play unit with play panels built in, a ground set trampoline, a rocker(s), a spinner, and a seesaw. We would also like an appropriate painted game on the surfacing. (2) can be achieved through reconfiguring the existing layout and/or by expanding the footprint into the body of the park but must continue the surfacing from (1). Contact Paul Smith, Amenities Officer 0118 974 0886 / 07954 250290 / amenities@wokingham-tc.gov.uk for more details and/ or to arrange a site visit. Wokingham Town Council would like to receive quotations with visuals by 28 May 2019. These are to be posted to Paul Smith, Amenities Officer, Wokingham Town Council, Market Place, Wokingham, RG40 1AS. Please also complete and return the health and safety attachment and a copy of your current public liability insurance. Your documentation should be returned in an envelope with the bottom left-hand corner of the envelope marked "NOT TO BE OPENED UNTIL NOON 28.05/2019".
