Notice Description

As part of its vision to provide all children in Cambridgeshire schools and early years settings with access to high quality outdoor learning opportunities, Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking to work in partnership with a provider or providers of accredited Forest School training and qualifications. The Council is looking to put in place a partnership with schools and early years and childcare providers to build an infrastructure of qualified teachers and practitioners over a three- to five-year period. A key element of this will be a countywide programme of training to create a cohort of confident forest schools practitioners, qualified to different levels. Expressions of interest are invited from experienced and innovative training providers offering suitable accreditation who can offer competitive and creative ideas for a long-term partnership. Training will be taken up and paid for by individuals, providers and schools, and this agreement will not be directly funded by the County Council.
