Supporting Leaders to Deliver Clinical-Academic Integration
Notice Description
We publish all our open sourcing requirements via the "Health Family Single eCommercial System" portal. https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome This is used by many organisations across the NHS and wider Health System to manage tendering and contract management activity. By registering on the system you will be able to see opportunities across all these organisations. The RBH-KHP Partnership comprises Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust and King's Health Partners (the Academic Health Sciences Centre comprising Guy's and St Thomas', King's College Hospital and South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts and King's College London). The partners have been working together since 2016/17 on plans to revolutionise care for people with heart and lung disease and to provide sustainability and security for the world-renowned specialist services currently provided at Royal Brompton Hospital. The Partnership's aims to deliver the best cardiovascular and respiratory outcomes for patients, wherever they receive care, improving the health and wellbeing of patients throughout their lifetime. As part of delivering the Partnership's vision, colleagues are working together to improve how we deliver care, translate world-class research, and build capacity through education and learning. This commission aims to directly contribute to further development of clinical-academic integration across the Partnership by bringing Organisational Development expertise and support to clinical and academic leads and the teams that they work with. The support will complement and augment the existing Partnership programme team offer and internal Partnership expertise, working with leaders and staff to: distil learning to date, support our leaders to be able to take on this new challenge and develop into the future leadership role; develop strong working relationships, and support the development of a programme of work that enables delivery of a clinical-academic vision of integration. The support will involve a systems approach, working with colleagues at all levels of the organisations and will take an appreciative approach to working with difference across multiple professional and organisational boundaries, with a focus on strengthening capability and capacity to deliver progress toward integration. It will involve working alongside the Partnership Programme team and clinical leaders to realise how learning can be captured and translated to strengthen future delivery of the Partnership and enable progress in a complex environment.
