Moorlands Primary School Window Replacement - Revised

Notice Description

Removal of old aluminium windows, frames and sills. Replace with white powder coated aluminium windows with top third openable with folding cam openers. Some windows are high level and all will need Teleflex winding gear to operate. Remove all external timber doors and replace in white powder coated aluminium doors. The winning bid of this tender for Moorlands school may be given the opportunity to extend the scope of works to include another school in Southampton of the same type of window replacement to the value of PS80k. The school is St Monica Primary School, Bay Road, Southampton. A plan is attached in the document folder. The works will involve removing timber windows and doors and replacing in powder coated aluminium. If the works are awarded the installation will carry on from the completion of this current project and likely begin in October 2017. Detailed scope of works and drawings will be issued at a later date to the winning tenderer. Additional information: Applicants will be required to apply via "Supply Southampton" website which can be accessed via, http://www.southampton.gov.uk/business-licensing/supply-council/supply-portal.aspx where you can register your details and access documentation. All documentation including questionnaires must be completed and submitted by no later than the time/date indicated. The Council undertakes to use reasonable endeavours to hold confidential any information provided in the proposal submitted, subject to the Council's obligations under law, including the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If the applicant considers that any of the information submitted in the proposal should not be disclosed because of its sensitivity then this should be stated with the reason for considering it sensitive. The Council will then consider the sensitivity statement before replying to any request received under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Any enquiries regarding the tender process must be directed through the website to the Curtis Fitch System.
