Market Engagement - Lived Experience Framework (NHS England)
Notice Description
NHS England is undertaking a market engagement exercise to gauge market interest in the provision a Lived Experience Framework. NHS England aims to create refresh the existing Framework and create a new Framework, across multiple Lived Experience specialities and to include an additional Lot - Lot 5. Lots are as follows: - Lot 1: Health and Justice sector, - Lot 2: Armed Forces sector, - Lot 3: Sexual Assault services, - Lot 4: Children & Young person's services - Lot 5: Domestic Abuse & Sexual Violence NHS England recognises that there are a range of providers of lived experience services, from large organisations through to micro-enterprises, with providers delivering services to particular geographical areas and/or nationwide. NHS England wishes to: 1) explore, understand, and address the pressures and challenges that lived experience providers face. 2) understand what support is required so more providers feel confident to apply 3) Advise the market of the planned forthcoming opportunity to apply to join this Framework. It is anticipated that this new framework will open to new providers in Spring 2023. Being part of this Framework means that providers will be eligible to provide services through call-offs (see definition below) NHS England is planning to run a virtual event, via Microsoft Teams at 13;00 hours on 11th September. Providers are asked to complete a Market Engagement questionnaire via Atamis to confirm their attendance at the event. Additional information: Definitions Framework - A list of Providers who have been pre qualified to be eligible to hold a contract. Framework Member - A Provider who has successfully passed all of the questions during the tender Call-off - The process used to attain a service contract / services from the Framework. This can be either a Mini-competition, or a Direct award. Mini-Competition - A shortened version of a tender process, advertised only to Framework Members. The advertisement is asking Framework Members to Bid to provide a the service required, as described in the service specification. Direct Award - Under certain circumstances, that will be fully described in the Framework Tender, a Framework Member may be requested to supply required services, without having to Bid during a mini competition. This is purely an early engagement exercise and does not commit the Commissioners to carry out a procurement process. Any subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when published.
