Notice Description

KCHFT (Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust) have a requirement to replace their Citrix ADCs (NetScalers) with 4 virtual Citrix ADC appliances - 2 per data centre. The NetScaler's currently provide KCHFT with a secure reverse proxy to in house web servers, as well as load balancing capabilities. KCHFT currently have 2 physical NetScaler (ADCs), which are due to go out of support soon (The current hardware devices reach their "EoL" in April 2023), and a suitable replacement needs to purchased. The requirement is to have 4 virtual load balancers 2 per datacentre. This would enable business continuity in the event of the loss of a single appliance, or disaster recovery in the event of losing the whole data centre. This will be capitalised and also comes with the possibility of extra funding from the capital budget. Expressions of interest (EOI) must be submitted via the Procontract Procurement Portal (Proactis) under opportunity number DN657494. Any correspondence to the Authority's staff email will be disregarded.
