The project is to meet the requirements for 3 strands of data not covered by existing Defra surveys or administrative data. These statistics provide the definitive source of market information on the cereals sector in the UK and cover: 1. Information on forage / livestock numbers, market conditions and grain fed on farm for use in the UK Cereal Balance sheet (a Eurostat requirement). 2. Information on forage items for use in value / volume calculations for the Economic Agricultural Accounts (a a statutory requirement) and the Agriculture in the United Kingdom publication. 3. Data (value and/or volume) and expert knowledge on farm inputs and outputs for the Agricultural Accounts and Farm Business Survey forecast. Additional information: Please note that Defra procurement uses e-tendering, provided by Bravosolutions. In order to access the Bravo system you will need to be registered.
