YORbuild3 Minor Works Contractors Framework Agreement North West Area
Notice Description
The procurement documents are available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge, at https://yortender.eu-supply.com A Framework Agreement to serve all public sector bodies (and their statutory successors) and third sector organisations in North West Yorkshire (UKE2) as detailed in the procurement documents. The works involved are principally general building works and new housing, including contractors design when required. Estimated total Value PS68,000,000 Lot 1 Building Works 0 GBP up to 1 000 000 GBP. Estimated value PS36,000,000 Lot 2 Building Works over 1 000 000 GBP up to 4 000 000 GBP. Estimated value PS20,000,000 Lot 3 New housing up to 25 units. Estimated value PS12,000,000 Duration of Framework agreement is 48 months. The framework has an option to extend for a further period of 2 years. Further details are set out in the framework documents. Provisional timetable for recourse to these options: in months: 48 (from the award of the framework). Some projects may receive financial contributions from European Union Funds. Subject to the technical and financial capability and capacity of applications it is envisaged that 12 contractors will be appointed to Lot 1 and 12 contractors to Lot 2 and 12 contractors to Lot 3 of the YORbuild3 Minor Works Contractors Framework Agreement North West Area. Provision is included under the Framework Arrangements for "Authorities" including one or more Central Government Departments and their Agencies, Non Departmental Government Bodies, National Health Service Bodies, Combined Authorities, Local Authorities (including County Councils, Unitary Authorities, District (Borough) Councils, Town Councils and Parish Councils), Registered Social Landlords (including Registered Providers and Housing Associations) and any other category of social landlord, Local Authority regulated companies including Arms Length Management Organisations, Police Authorities, Fire Authorities (including Fire and Rescue Authorities), other emergency services, Educational Establishments (including schools maintained by a Local Authority, Academies, City Technology Colleges, the Learning and Skills Council, University Technical Colleges, University Purchasing Consortium, Further Education Establishments and Universities), Highways authorities, drainage and flooding boards and authorities, coastal authorities, bridge boards and authorities and registered charities to access the concluded Framework Agreement, without creating any obligation on behalf of any of them to do so. The Framework may also be used by non-Public Sector organisations to comply with conditions associated with the use of public funds for those specific projects Additional information: Section 3 A Framework Agreement to serve all public sector bodies (and their statutory successors) Following the consultation on local government reorganisation in North Yorkshire, it was announced in July 2021 that the current county, district and borough councils would be replaced by a new single council for North Yorkshire with City of York Council remaining as it is. Scarborough Borough Council is currently named as the contracting authority for the YORbuild3 North West area frameworks. The new council is expected to officially start in April 2023. Until then, Scarborough Borough Council will continue as the contracting authority for this framework. Once the new authority officially comes into being then the framework contracting authority for the North West areas will automatically transfer to the new North Yorkshire Council
