Summary of the contracting process

The Guinness Partnership Ltd is initiating the "Empty Homes Contractor Framework," a public procurement process intended to re-procure contracts for empty homes work across four regional lots in England: North West, North East, South Central, and South Coast. This project, classified under construction materials and associated items, has a total value of £6,500,000 and is planned to run from February 1, 2021, to January 31, 2024. Interested parties can anticipate a call for expressions of interest (EOI) in September 2020.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in construction, repair, and maintenance services, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs). Companies specialising in building installation, site preparation, environmental services, and associated repairs are particularly well-suited to compete. The framework will allocate work based on a combination of quality and price, allowing successful bidders to secure a steady pipeline of contracts while helping to meet critical housing needs in the regions covered.
