Torquay Town Hall is heated by a system powered by central, natural gas-fired boiler plant, installed during the 1990s. The contract is for the replacement of these boilers with natural gas-fired, condensing type boilers. Additional information: This procurement is following a Further Competition process in accordance with the Directive (2014/24/EU) and implemented in the United Kingdom by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) from Devon County Council's Standing List of Approved Contractors to which Torbay Council has access. Devon County Council awarded the Standing List of Approved Contractors (SLoAC) in accordance with their internal Contract Standing Orders on 1 April 2016.
