Notice Description

The Met Office has identified a potential requirement for the provision of a Doppler LiDAR solution. In light of this, we are currently seeking informal expressions of interest and some insight from the market as to the current capabilities on offer. If you are interested and would like further information, please contact adam.rossiter@metoffice.gov.uk , who will be able to provide you with: a) Further details on the background of our potential requirement; b) An overview of the type of information we are trying to obtain from the market at this stage, and; c) Instructions on how to submit an informal expression of interest and provide some information to the Met Office about your capabilities and solutions. We are hoping to receive submissions by Friday 15th November 2019. PLEASE NOTE - this notice is an information gathering exercise rather than a call for competition, and therefore publication or response does not commit the Met Office or any respondents to a future procurement, nor provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest. The Met Office will not be liable for costs incurred by any interested party in participating in this exercise.
