GB-Liverpool: LCR4.0 Holistic Summative Assessment Provider
Notice Description
Industry 4.0 is transforming production in the modern world economy. The basic principle of Industry 4.0 is that by applying digital tools and technologies to businesses, the physical and digital worlds can be merged and produce significant enhancements to performance and productivity. The Liverpool City Region has the potential to take advantage of this programme, following on from the success and legacy of the LCR 4.0 project, which developed an Industry 4.0 ecosystem through meaningful collaboration between its knowledge base and agile enterprises in identified growth sectors with a manufacturing output. The LCR 4.0 HOLISTIC project is a unique opportunity for the region's economy and industrial strategy to stay ahead of the mainstream by delivering a project that will shift the local economy from a sector specific, linear supply chain to a more interconnected, and sustainable, digitally enabled supply chain ecosystem. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
