Notice Description

Miner2Major is a Landscape Partnership scheme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, celebrating the important habitats, special species and rich heritage of Sherwood Forest. The scheme area, outlined in green on the attached map, covers a region from the northern edge of Nottingham at Bestwood Park to Edwinstowe and Ollerton. Delivery will take place with groups in and surrounding this area. Nottinghamshire County Council is the lead partner and accountable body and will be the commissioning organisation. Further details can be found on the Scheme website:www.miner2major.org.uk An important part of the delivery of Miner2Major is engagement with local communities. The scheme's Engagement Officer will commission sessional workers to deliver heritage engagement activities working with local communities including adults, young people and family groups. The DPS will be made up of activities that are divided into 3 Lots Lot 1 - Visual Arts and Crafts Lot 2 - Performing Arts Lot 3 - Heritage Activities & Talks Additional information: Tender submissions and clarifications must be via https://www.eastmidstenders.org The initial period set up phase will conclude on the 8th November 2021.Organisations may submit an application at any time during the life of the list. Applications will be evaluated within 10 working days of submission (in exceptional circumstances this may take 15 days) and bidders notified of the outcome
