Notice Description

Dstl intends to hire a Robotic Platoon Vehicle (RPV) with accompanying technical support and training, which is capable of being armed with a medium or heavy machine gun and has a Surveillance, Target Acquisition (STA) system capable of detecting a human up to 2km away in all light conditions. Dstl expects the RPV to be able to operate within a dismounted Infantry Section/Platoon and is able to traverse terrain associated with Dismounted Close Combat (DCC) in both the Urban and Rural environments. Suppliers should submit their interest via the Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (DPQQ) linked below, prior to the stated deadline. An Invitation To Tender will follow to successful parties, with an aim to place a contract by the end of December 2020. The DPQQ will be evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis - a pass will be awarded based on satisfactory responses to the questions within the PQQ. The Authority reserves the right to query or eliminate respondees based on financial or delivery risk presented within the response.
