Notice Description

The tenderer is required to submit a quotation and proposal for the provision of a three-day public festival called 'Flaxmill Creates Festival' to be held at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings (hereafter referred to as 'SFM'). The festival will celebrate heritage, craft and creative skills, reflecting the innovative past of the site and the recent story of restoration and renewal. Craft sessions and participative workshops will be provided by the site team for attendees to get involved in, and local artists and creators will showcase their work. Local singers and performers will be invited to perform and there will be a celebration of the engagement work the site team have undertaken with communities, schools and partners over the preceding two years. Art and performances by school children will also be scheduled. The Festival will be a flagship event in SFM's engagement with the local community.
