Notice Description

The MPS/MET (Metropolitan Police service) are tendering for the delivery and MANAGED SERVICE of a team of experienced public protection advisors (PPA's) to deliver a comprehensive improvement plan over a two-year contract period, identifying poor performance, delivering targeted interventions and best practice. This should have the effect of adding resilience and capacity to the teams supported within the MPS Basic Command Units (BCU). The objectives of the project are to deliver an improvement across the 6 areas of public protection, these being: * Missing children * Child sexual and criminal exploitation * Child Abuse (s.47) * Indecent images of children * Domestic Abuse * Rape The number of PPA's we are seeking will be equivalent to 12 full time posts - (with consideration for flexible working/job share). They should be capable of receiving NPPV 2 vetted status. To be considered the individuals should be able to demonstrate a strong detective background with 1-2 years' experience of safeguarding investigations at Pip level 2.
