Notice Title

Review of Careers Management System (CMS) and digital careers resources to enhance Careers, Employability and Start Up offer LJMU.

Notice Description

This is a request for information to enable LJMU to explore the capabilities of the market, this is NOT a Tender exercise. Careers Management Platform: Careers and Employability management features: 1. Organisations and Opportunities: Employer profile and vacancy management, upload of information and job posting, API to reputable and relevant source of student internships, placements and graduate vacancies, ability for employers to import own jobs and generate automated emails. The university is interested in bringing in an advanced product that can help students with low social capital access employers and opportunities and is particularly interested in how careers management systems would help drive this. 2. Appointment scheduling and booking; careers and employability and business advice appointment scheduled in an easy to use manner allowing for a range of different timed/themed appointments to be offered to students and graduates. A high percentage of students have received no or little careers intervention from previous education institutions and the university is interested in how a new solution would support early engagement of students. 3. Careers Fair and Event management, ability to create, manage and promote both university and external events to students and graduates, with generated emails and reporting functionality. Ability to host booking and delivery of webinars in platform. As student demographics change the university is interested in offering a range of in-person and on-demand features for students through 'just in time' and personalisation and is interested in how a new solutions would aid this. 4. AI products: provide or the ability to integrate with range of careers products including AI CV Builders, AI interview tools and psychometric testing. The university is interested in seeing innovative approaches to careers and employability support balancing the potential risk of bias in AI led programme and is interested in how new solutions would drive innovation whilst protecting authentic experiences for students and graduates. 5. Offer bespoke information for course specific students and student/graduate offer and based on preferences in user profile. Ability to upload both platform generated advice content and LJMU authored content. 6.
