Bradford District Street Lighting Programme

Notice Description

The Council will be issuing a tender for the replacement of a substantial number of lanterns and street lighting columns and for the installation of CMS / IoT Nodes. It is estimated that there will be around 17,000 columns to be replaced and approximately 55,000 lanterns. Where columns are being replaced this work will also include connection to the mains power supply. As part of this project the Council is also intending to take the opportunity to introduce smart city technology in the form of CMS/IoT Nodes and Gateways. A bidders event day will be held in Bradford on the 25th February at 11:00 a.m. prior to the issue of the tender.
