This partnership is integral to the university meeting it's Access and Participation Plan requirements as mandated by the Office for Students. The charity has a unique model of setting up community centres in partnership with universities to engage local schools and colleges in Higher Education progression. UEA Outreach is in a four year partnership with the charity Into University, and Trinity College Cambridge, to deliver attainment and aspiration raising activity in Great Yarmouth. After several years of research, this programme has been deemed to be the most appropriate for this area, hence us forming the partnership. Our partnership with them means they will be the sole provider of this activity in Great Yarmouth. A single action tender has been undertaken.
