The GMC requires clinical assessment venues to support the work of the Assessment Development Team (ADT) pilot events.We run approximately 15-20 pilot events each year to support development of the Fitness to Practice (FTP) Tests of Competence Assessments. Volunteer doctors from across the UK attend the pilots to test and validate new assessment material. These assessments include Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and a written Knowledge Test.
