RFI - The Environment Agency Learning Experience / Management System Defra.
Notice Description
The Environment Agency is reviewing the market place for engaging and intuitive Learning Experience / Learning Management Platforms. The solution will be primarily targeted at internal Environment Agency employees but will also have the potential to share content across the wider DEFRA group and with the EA supply chain. Other key aspects enhancement s include: - Commercially of the shelf solution with some minor customisations. - Learning Experiences - intelligent solution that learns, aligns learners with learning that is targeted to their roles(s) and learning needs. - Capability and Competence tracking solution allows learners to record their information and at team and organisational level. For additional information the Strategic objectives for this solution are listed in the additional text field, also attached a summary pre-requisite checklist. In order to assess the potential of the market place a 'Request for Information (RFI) is being published which is attached to this notice along with a spreadsheet of indicative costs to populate. If you believe that your solution matches these requirements, then please participate by following the instructions in the RFI (file) attached to this notice and sending the completed: 1) RFI response 2) The Appendix C - Indicative costs spreadsheet 3) The pre-requisite checklist ticked (Yes/No) 4) The RFI Appendix B - Master Requirements Catalogue (1) to the Commercial Department at the following email address: tim.carter@defra.gov.uk. by the Thursday 1st April 2021, 17.00pm We thank you for your interest in participating in the RFI - The Environment Agency Learning Experience / Management System Defra. Learners are able to access content where, when and how it suits them. A flexible level of access to permitted external users e.g. Defra staff, third-parties, etc. 2 Social and content curation A solution that connects like-minded learners, builds learning communities and enables learners to share, maintain and develop understanding and skills. Fosters a life-enhancing learning environment and confident staff with user generated learning. 3 Intelligent management information and reporting A solution that helps manage organisational resilience and career development. Intelligent and automated reporting producing management information on employee capability, skills, experiences, qualifications and professional membership. 4 Environment Agency culture and values Supports a strategy of stimulating learning, coaching, mentoring and builds a culture of active independent learners which aids employee satisfaction, progression and retention. 5 Professionalisation and Performance Supports our professionalisation ambition through capability descriptions, qualifications and career routes. Linking to professional bodies and Civil Service professions. Links with performance management to build employee performance 6 Value for money and efficiencies Solution capable of delivering a wide variety of training options including dedicated learning modules for business areas that can be self-administered. Effective planning and administration of national courses.
