The Jobs Guarantee will provide a fully funded six-month paid job to eligible 18-24-year-olds who have been on Universal Credit and looking for work for 18 months. The scheme is intended to provide long term unemployed young people with meaningful work and support to gain skills and experience through work, to improve their chances of moving into sustained employment after the scheme. The Jobs Guarantee will be delivered through Delivery Partners who will source and match young people to jobs and provide wraparound support and training. We are seeking interest from organisations with relevant experience to deliver the scheme for 2 years from November 2026. The objectives of the Jobs Guarantee are to: Ensure that every eligible young person is guaranteed a suitable job. Ensure that eligible young people on the scheme have the support that they need to address their barriers to employment, so that they are able to gain skills and experience from 6 months of continuous employment that will help them make the transition into sustained employment. Each participant will receive: 25 hours per week of fully funded paid work for six months. Employers may self-fund additional hours or higher wages. Wraparound support and training to help them succeed on the Scheme and transition into sustained employment. Delivery Partners will be responsible for: Administering the scheme. Working with employers to source suitable jobs. Matching young people to suitable jobs which meet the requirements of the scheme. Providing wraparound support and training to the young person. throughout their time on the scheme to help them to succeed. End of placement support. Monitoring and reporting.
