Notice Description

The Somerset Rivers Authority (Somerset Council) is looking to assess market interest to deliver potential works on the Kings Sedgemoor Drain near Westonzoyland, Somerset. This will help inform the scope, objectives, deliverables, and budget for any potential work. There are outstanding works to be completed to ensure that the outcomes of this phase of works are achieved. Namely the raising of a 1.8km bank on the left bank (looking downstream) of the King Sedgemoor Drain (KSD) to a consistent consolidated height of 3.85 aod. We estimate 2,500m3 of bulked material will need to be imported. The maximum bank height at any one given point will be 500mm with some existing banks already at the height of 3.85 aod.
