Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Coventry City Council seeking to award contracts under a "pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System" to engage high-quality music tutors in Coventry schools and community venues. The tender, titled "Quarterly DPS Award Notice," falls under the education and training services industry category. This procurement is currently in the award stage, with contracts to be awarded by 31 August 2030, and a total budget of £2,000,000. Interested parties should note that the procurement method is selective, with key responsibilities set to commence from 1 September 2030.

This tender presents significant opportunities for SMEs and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) looking to expand their services in the education sector. Businesses with expertise in music education, tutoring, or related fields would be particularly well-suited to compete. Given the long-term nature of the contracts, firms can benefit from sustained engagement and contractual security, making this an attractive opportunity for those aiming to grow their presence in Coventry and surrounding areas.
