Notice Description

The Contract will be for an initial period of 10 years with options to extend for up to a further 10 years (consisting of any number of periods) bringing the potential contract period to 20 years. The Contract includes the management and operation of the following: * The new swimming pool and water park (construction due to be completed in Spring 2022); * The Moorways Stadium including the athletics track and sports pitches * Any additional leisure facilities within the contract area as may be introduced during the contract period for instance tennis, 3G pitches and similar improvements to the contract area. * Any ancillary services such as cafe, treatment rooms, swim teaching, car park management, grounds maintenance, CCTV and other ancillary services as set out or referred to in the Services Specification. In addition the contract includes the Authority's active communities programme. The operator may also undertake improvement works at the facilities to increase opportunities, improve the facilities and or enhance income streams. Variant options are being sought on different lifecycle responsibilities and utilities risks. Other than the specified variants, variants are not permitted. The estimated value of the services is PS80,000,000 over the maximum 20 year period. This tender is being managed electronically.
