Notice Description

The Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the demolition of a 6 storey block that forms 130 - 159 St Marys, Barking, Essex IG11 together with a number of retail units that occupy the ground floor. The works also include isolation and capping off of existing electricity, gas, water and telephone services serving the properties, including the management of meter removals from individual properties Interested parties should note that the successful contractor will be appointed utilsing an NFDC form of contract (as amended) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
